What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Your email, your location and optionally your name has been collected via the registration form to a list of subscribed community members. This list has been used for verifying the number of unique supporters, or for contacting reasons in case of a community action. Any member that wishes to unsubscribe can follow the link. We are using the sendinBlue platform to support all these procedures. The respective privacy policy is available here.

Who we share your data with

We do not share any personal data with anyone.

How long we retain your data

We indefinitely retain data. Anyone can ask to edit or delete permanently its personal information (e-mail, location, name) by contacting to: contact[at]caprice-community.net. Also any member that wishes to unsubscribe from the community list he/she can follow the specified link.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. youtube videos, share buttons). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We don’t use any analytics tracker. We can export statistics from web server’s log file. These statistics are kept for administrative, legal, or security purposes. This information is not visible and shared to anyone.

How we protect your data

All pages have been encrypted before transmitting over the Internet through the usage of a SSL certificate. We also use the DoNotTrack plugin that protects our websites visitor’s privacy by preventing 3rd party tracking code.

Trackers

This site is using four trackers due to third party components integration. The DoubleClick tracker is due to the integrated youtube video. The Facebook Impressions and the Facebook Connect tracker are due to the facebook like button in the homepage. Finally the Mautic tracker has been used by the mymedia platform for social media integration in the homepage and in the CAPrice Magazino page.

Below we provide some solutions to disable them if you like. If you can recommend any other solution please feel free to contact us.

  2. Disable facebook connect tracker by using an existing solution like Ghostery, Adblock Plus, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin. See a review of famous browser extensions here.

You can also turn on the Do Not Track feature on Mozilla Firefox Browser, or send “Do Not Track”  request on Google Chrome, or stop Microsoft Edge from collecting or storing info.
